How to Get Explorer Gadget in Pokémon Go
There is not currently a guaranteed way to obtain an Explorer Gadget in PokémonGo, as Scopely is instead distributing the item randomly
The Explorer Gadget in Pokémon Go is currently being tested by the developer, but the number of players receiving the device is steadily increasing

Gradual rollouts have taken place over the last few weeks, introducing the Explorer Gadget to more regions worldwide and players, but it’s not distributed to everybody just yet
Further down the line, when the feature is fully available, the Explorer Gadget should be automatically granted to you and available to use
How to Use Explorer Gadget in Pokémon Go
The Explorer Gadget is used to automatically catch Pokémonin PokémonGo, similarly to the physical autocatchers like GO Plus and GO Plus+, alongside other benefits
The major difference is the device can only be used once per day, and there’s a limit to the amount of Pokémon that can be caught by the device, which seemingly depends on your player level, but the full details have not yet been confirmed

Alongside catching Pokémon, the Explorer Gadget is also capable of automatically spinning PokéStops, providing players with more rewards for interacting with those locations
Pokémon Go does not need to remain open once the Explorer Gadget has been activated, so you’re free to go about your day however you please while the device does all the hard working the background
