Kaia Gerber is keeping her love out of the spotlight
The 24-year-old model and actress, who stars in The Shards, has been romantically linked to Marvel actor Lewis Pullman since January 2025. And in a new September 2026 cover interview withVogue published on Aug. 11, Gerber made a rare comment about dating in the public eye and being in a relationship with 33-year-old Pullman, whose parents are actor Bill Pullman and dancer Tamara Hurwitz

As worded by Vogue,Gerber called her relationship with Pullman the “healthiest and most adult relationship of her life,” and shared one of the best things about their love
“I think the ultimate goal is that your relationship doesn’t change you, that you’re not code switching between relationship, friendship, professional life. I would love to always feel like me, and in this relationship I’m having the pleasure of doing that,” she said
Gerber also spoke about dating in the public eye. “There are so few things you get to protect as a famous person, and being defined by who you date when you’re 18 is something I find challenging,” said Gerber, who has dated Jacob Elordi and Austin Butler in recent years
She went on to explain that she’s dealt with “misogynistic” labels, including “serial dater, slut, greedy.” But it was her mom, Cindy Crawford, who gave her advice. “My mom is always like, Just don’t make the same mistake twice. And I’m pretty good at not.”

In an Oct. 1 episode of theTherapuss with Jake Shanepodcast, Gerber gushed over her bond with Pullman, revealing that “a lot” was being “healed” because of their love. “I really feel like if you have the opportunity to date a friend, do it, because it just is so much better,” she said. “I would never want to fight with my friends. I never want to be mad at my friends. I respect my friends. It just is a whole other thing.”
In the same interview, Gerber commented on being in age-gap relationships with older men (she and Pullman have nine years between them)
“…I would completely just change my personality and my values for someone. I always dated people that were older than me, and so I was very willing to give up everything,” she explained

“I was like, I can show you I love you by completely, giving up my life for you, which is actually not how you build respect and trust and is not good in the long run,” she added. “Then you start to bring a little bit more of who you really are into the relationship and they’re like, no, I like that person before.”
