Kelly Clarkson is hilarously reassuring fans that she’s only putting on one type of show
During a performance for her Las Vegas residency over the weekend, an onstage fan seemingly blew a gust of wind toward Clarkson as she was addressing the crowd. This prompted the “Since You’ve Been Gone” singer’s sheer top to fly up
“There’s a lot of amazing things happening,” she said in a video shared by E! News. “Uh oh, there’s my boobs. Pa-pow,” she said as she noticed her top ride up
As she tried to pull her shirt down, she continued, “They’re too small, they won’t come out. You’re fine. They’re not going anywhere,” she said, then quickly added, “They’re perfect.”
Clarkson explained that she regretted making the joke due to the Lion’s Gate Portal, an astrological event that took place on Aug. 8
“I’m gonna be honest with you — somebody was like, ‘It’s the Lion’s Gate Portal. It’s 8/8/8. There’s so much energy out, don’t speak negatively,’ [so] right when I made a self-deprecating joke, I’m like, ‘Just kidding, universe, my boobs are awesome,’ ” she said
Clarkson has had many onstage humorous and honest moments during her Las Vegas residency
Last month, during a show, the “American Idol” alum opened up about a nasty gastrointestinal bug that had convinced her that she had caught the parasite driving the massive national cyclospora outbreak
“I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I don’t know if I’ve got that thing where people eat lettuce and s–t.”
Comparing the whole ordeal to the infamous food poisoning scene in the comedy “Bridesmaids,” she joked that the miserable experience has pretty much sealed her fate as “single until (she’s) dead.” Referring to her hotel room, she told the crowd, “I have never been so happy there is not a man in the room because he for sure would never make sweet love to this again.”
