The editorial is incorrect to characterize the Trump administration as attempting to “force the Smithsonian to mold history into Trump’s ideological image.”
How can drag queens and an LBGTQ “crotch harness,” which was on display at the museum, possibly be relevant to our great and inspiring American history?
What is wrong with presenting history through glorious and triumphant events?
The constant Trump bashing is tiring

I thought I lived in Texas where Republicans have ruled for 30 years

I also thought Republicans stood for free market, limited government and faith
Now, Gov. Greg Abbott wants to break up CPS Energy’s monopoly. All I could think is that I am tired of all the top-down, governor, lieutenant governor regulations that meddle in local schools, cities and counties
I no longer live in San Antonio, and have sold our property there, but this push by our current leaders to make decisions for us makes me angry

Texas hasn’t responded to challenges in the energy sector by banning development. We established clear rules, encouraged innovation and found ways to turn private investment into public benefit. We should follow the same playbook for artificial intelligence

Any data center that wants to build here, he said, should pay its own way, and we are seeing that through ratepayer protection pledges that protect consumers and show that companies will cover their own costs
Broad development moratoriums and inconsistent local restrictions conflict with Texas’ longstanding approach to responsible growth and create uncertainty for businesses that want to invest in our state
