Longview entrepreneurs Seanjin Kim and his wife, Stella Park, have added another business to their collection
Their Bunny Market, at 1107 Evergreen St., offers a store full of fun, where children can play and be creative and find toys, snacks and more. The store also offers items that include the 925 Sterling Silver Collection featuring the work of independent jewelry artists in Korea and the Dan Designer Collection of jewelry from South Korea with Swarovski crystals
The couple previously opened Evergreen Coffee and Dessert and Evergreen Tattoo, with all three in the same shopping center at Gilmer Road and Evergreen Street. Their Evergreen Food Factory, featuring Korean food, is at 1402 W. Marshall Ave
Bunny Market features its own coins for children to use in crane-style machines where they can pluck various stuffed toys out of the “Doll Park” or in machines that distribute prizes inside plastic balls — Korean-style “gacha” games
It’s that game that inspired Park to name the store the “Bunny Market,” because the Gashapon machine reminded her of Easter eggs that have a surprise inside
“I feel like that whole shop is like an Easter Egg, and you can find something fun and a surprise inside,” she said
The store coins also are used to purchase other items in the store, including some toys and stickers. Children also can design and decorate their own pens and hand-held mirrors
The store is open noon-8 p.m. seven days a week
Sugar Rush expands
Sugar Rush has reopened in a larger space in Longview Mall in front of Dick’s Sporting Goods and next to GNC
Sugar Rush describes itself as “your go-to candy store in Longview,” offering “everything from classic sweets and chocolates to rare <a href="https://todaytrendnews7.com/doctoral-graduate-takes-eating-disorders-to-international-stage/” title=”Doctoral graduate takes eating disorders to international stage”>international candies you can’t find anywhere else.”
New Sparklight store
Sparklight, an internet and mobile service provider, is inviting the public to the grand reopening of its new retail store from 3-5 p.m. Aug. 6 at 3616 Gum Springs Road in Longview
Hosted in partnership with the Kilgore Area Chamber of Commerce, the event will feature refreshments, games, prizes and a ribbon-cutting ceremony
“Our new retail store will continue to serve East Texas residents with fast, reliable connectivity and exceptional local support,” said Kenny Walker, Sparklight senior regional director, south central. “We look forward to welcoming customers at our new space and helping them find the internet, mobile and business solutions that best meet their needs.”
The event follows Sparklight’s recent recognition as Best Internet Service Provider by readers of the Longview News-Journal in the publication’s 2026 ‘Best of East Texas’ awards
Sparklight has invested nearly $29 million during the past three years to expand and enhance its fiber-rich network in Longview and surrounding areas
Residential customers in Longview have access to internet speeds as fast as 6 Gig as well as a suite of connectivity products and services
Cotton Patch offering
Cotton Patch Cafe is testing new family meals at select locations through Aug. 25, including in Longview and Henderson
The new family meals let guests choose from a variety of protein and side options across three meal tiers. Available for pickup only, the meals range in price from $41.99 to $54.99. The meals feed a family of four for about $11 per person
