Mno-Bmadsen, the non-gaming investment enterprise of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians of Michigan and Indiana, has acquired the remaining 46% stake in manufacturing holding company Mno-DREK LLC, completing an eight-year plan to take full ownership of the business
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed
The deal includes Enmark Tool & Gage in Fraser, Mich.; Michiana Global Mold in Mishawaka, Ind.; and Walerko Tool & Engineering in Elkhart, Ind. The companies provide precision machining, tooling and mold manufacturing services for customers in the automotive, aerospace, marine and heavy equipment industries
Mno-Bmadsen and DREK Holdings LLC formed Mno-DREK in 2018 under a long-term agreement that paired Mno-Bmadsen’s capital with DREK’s <a href="https://todaytrendnews7.com/927th-arw-aids-operation-buffalo-river-wellness/” title=”927th ARW aids Operation Buffalo River Wellness”>operational leadership while establishing a planned exit for DREK
“Mno-Bmadsen has now exercised the planned transition and assumes 100 percent ownership of Mno-DREK,” CEO Julio Martinez said in a statement. He said the company expects to announce new leadership and expansion plans in the coming months
Mno-Bmadsen said DREK Holdings helped build the manufacturing platform over the past eight years through executive leadership, transaction support and operational guidance
Created in 2012, Mno-Bmadsen manages the Pokagon Band’s non-gaming investments across manufacturing, construction, professional services, commercial real estate, retail and other holdings as part of the tribe’s long-term economic diversification strategy
