PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — Two Palm Beach County teens are wrapping up a summer internship by giving back to their community through fashion
On Monday, July 27, the DeGeorge Boys & Girls Club in West Palm Beach will host a fashion show created by Club members Phildensy Jean and Kyle Weinstock as part of Bank of America’s Student Leaders internship program

For the past 15 years, Bank of America has partnered with local nonprofits by providing grants that fund paid summer internships for high school students. This year, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County selected Jean and Weinstock for the six-week program, which gives students the opportunity to develop and lead a community project of their choice
The pair chose to organize a fashion show after the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County received a $100,000 clothing donation from Tommy Hilfiger

The event will feature Club members modeling the donated clothing. After the show, the models will be able to keep the outfits they wear, and organizers will host a pop-up shop where about 200 Boys & Girls Club members can select clothing to take home
As part of the internship, Jean and Weinstock also spent a week training at Bank of America’s headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina, before returning to Palm Beach County to bring their project to life

Both students will head to college in August and say the experience has given them firsthand insight into philanthropy, leadership and project management while making a lasting impact on younger Club members
