“I’m developing a movie at the company about it,” he said, adding it was in the “very early days.”
He was talking to Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos on their talk show — the actor had been asked about the case because Ripa was an avid watcher of the trial. She volunteered to be a consultant on the production
“The Odyssey” is one of the most talked about films of the summer. Hannah Donnelly sits down with the star-studded cast and director Christopher Nolan to talk about the incredible way they brought Homer’s epic poem to life. Damon didn’t say if the movie would be a drama or documentary
He and Ben Affleck founded the production company Artists Equity. Its website on Friday didn’t list a Karen Read project alongside other works in production, like a drama about a Nantucket bartender played by Renée Zellweger whose mother and daughter both move in with her and an Affleck-narrated show called “Hunting Whitey Bulger” about the infamous Southie mob boss
Another actor from Massachusetts is reportedly already working on a Karen Read project: Pittsfield’s Elizabeth Banks. The production company behind that limited series, Warner Brothers Television, hasn’t shared anything about the show since reports about it came out in the Hollywood press last August
