Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) has signed a new agreement with leading travel technology company Amadeus to deploy a range of innovative revenue management, shopping, and distribution solutions. The deal will accelerate the digital transformation of the flag-carrier, driving demand and delivering an enriched passenger experience through smarter pricing and broader distribution
Jamil Manizade, Chief Commercial Officer of Azerbaijan Airlines, said: “Azerbaijan Airlines is undergoing a significant modernization, and our agreement with Amadeus will be a key enabler of this transformation. By advancing our digital capabilities, we are enhancing the traveler experience across the region and setting a benchmark for the industry.”
Under the terms of the deal, Azerbaijan Airlines will deploy four new solutions
Amadeus Network Revenue Management maximizes revenue through the optimization of pricing and inventory decisions, providing better capacity control and allowing AZAL to more accurately forecast demand
Flex Pricer Premium will offer stronger upsell capabilitiesss to new demand channels such as Skyscanner, Kayak and 40+ other providers driving more qualified traffic and better conversion
Finally, Instant Search drives inspiration, increases engagement, and improves conversion. Passengers will see a better user experience through faster response times and wide calendar view while the solution supports unlimited searches without causing performance constraints
